Martin Schlerka joined BIOGEST in 1998 and has been CEO since 1999.
After graduating as an environmental engineer from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), he gained valuable experience in consulting engineering firms. Martin has over 20 years of experience in the management and implementation of renewable energy projects. Having realized more than 200 biogas projects, he has a unique understanding of our clients' needs and expectations - often before they even know what they need. With a clear international perspective, he ensures that our visions are turned into reality and that BIOGEST remains successful as one of the leading biogas solution providers worldwide.

Gabriella Kolozsi has been with BIOGEST since 2014 and was promoted to Head of Legal and Project Development in 2023. In this role, she provides legal and strategic support for international biogas projects, specializing in EPC contracts, corporate governance, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance. Gabriella leads the project development department as well, overseeing the planning and development phases of biogas projects. With years of in-house legal experience at BIOGEST and a background as a legal advisor at a Romanian law firm, Gabriella plays a key role in driving the development and successful implementation of our international projects.

Martin Hornhuber joined BIOGEST in 2005 and has served as Chief Operating Officer since 2015. With a background in Civil Engineering and Water Management from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), Martin combines strategic vision with a sharp eye for detail. His precise approach and strong commitment have made him a trusted partner in every project. Martin ensures that investments quickly translate into profitability while fostering long-term, successful customer relationships. Especially in the after-sales phase and beyon, he stands by your side with clear communication, helping you make informed decisions and supporting you in achieving your goals.
