Italy's third BIOP plant
The plant is scheduled to begin operations by summer 2026. The plant is located in the Lazio region near Rome.
It will process approximately 53,000 tonnes per year of cattle manure, olive pomace, poultry manure, and vegetable residues into 475 Nm³/h of biomethane using BIOGEST’s PowerRing technology.
Strategically positioned in the Agro Romano area, the project promotes circular agriculture by supporting local farms and olive cooperatives, turning organic residues into renewable energy and valuable by-products.
